How to Set Your POS Terminal PIN on the Merchant Portal

Setting your POS Terminal PIN on the Merchant Portal is an important step in securing your payment operations on your POS Terminals. It adds an extra layer of authentication before sensitive actions can be carried out on your terminals. You can conveniently create or update your PIN directly from the Merchant Portal without needing physical support.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to set your POS Terminal PIN on the Merchant Portal. 

Step 1: Log In to your Account

a. Open your web browser and go to the dashboard login page - Login to your Hydrogen Account (hydrogenpay.com)

b. Enter your registered email address and password to login to your account.

Step 2: Navigate to the POS menu on the menu bar, then click on the Terminal ID you want to update from the list displayed on the right side of the page.

Step 3: On the right side of the page, locate the Terminal PIN section and toggle it on to enable the Terminal PIN.

Step 4: Enter your preferred PIN, then click “Set PIN” to complete the setup.

Success! Your Terminal PIN is now active and ready for use. You may now restart your POS terminal.
