Virtual accounts allow businesses to assign unique account numbers to individual branches, enabling clearer payment tracking and accountability for the staff managing each location. Creating a virtual account on the Merchant Portal is quick and easy.
Follow the steps below to set up a new virtual account for your business:
Step 1: Log In to your Account
a. Open your web browser and go to the dashboard login page - Login to your Hydrogen Account (hydrogenpay.com)
b. Enter your registered email address and password to login to your account.
Step 2: Go to InstantPay on the menu bar and click on 'Accounts'
Step 3: On the right section of the page, click 'Add New Virtual Account' and select 'Add Single Account' from the dropdown.
Step 4: Set Up Account Details:
i. Provide an Account Label to help distinguish this virtual account from others.
ii. Use the Location dropdown to assign the account to a specific branch or location.
If the location is unavailable, click Add New Location beneath the field to create one. See How to Set Up Your Location on InstantPay for guidance.
iii. Under Assign User, select one or more users to link to the account.
If the user you want to assign does not exist, click Add New User below the dropdown to create a new user.
iv. Once all details are confirmed, click on the highlighted Create account button.
Success! Your virtual account has been created.
